How to dye your leather shoes or handbag

Many people are hesitant to dye their shoes, boots or handbag. Not to worry as the Tarrago products are easy to use and offer great results. Anyone can do it!

The results will depend on the cleaning preparation so please read the directions below. It is important that the surface of your shoe or handbag be prepared first with the Tarrago Preparer that is included in the kit.

We always suggest testing the dye on a discreet area of the object you are dyeing before proceeding. If you are happy with the color, finish your preparation and apply the dye on the rest of the item.

A Tarrago tip: when changing the color, prepare the item as outlined below and apply a thin first coat of the dye. Let the item dry, then apply additional THIN coats between

drying as needed.

A Tarrago tip: use the included brush for repairing small scratches and scuffs. Use the included sponge to apply the dye on the rest of the item.

FOR BEST RESULTS, USE LIGHT THIN COATS OF THE DYE WITH DRYING IN BETWEEN!
