How do I choose which product to use?
Tarrago Self Shine Shoe Polish (Cream) -
A convenient shoe care product with a FREE foam applicator built into the cap of each jar. Great for travel or to take to work! Tarrago's best seller, this product applies very easy with no mess. It dries very fast and does NOT require buffing, thus the title "Self Shine" Shoe Polish. This is a wax based shoe polish that will not dye your shoe but will provide a quick shine and at the same time enhance color and nourish the leather.

Tarrago Self Shine Shoe Polish (Liquid) -
The same qualities as the Self Shine Shoe Polish but this product comes as a liquid in a easy to use applicator. The applicator has a foam head for an easy, no mess application. Some people prefer this type of application to the use of a jar of shoe polish.
Tarrago Shoe Cream -

Tarrago Self Shine Color Dye -
The Self Shine Color Dye comes as a kit to dye your shoes. It has self shine qualities, so once your shoe is dyed, buffing will not be required. The kit includes the color dye
of your choice, a bottle of preparer, a sponge, an application brush and detailed directions. Easy to use, this product can be used to restore your shoe's color or if you
prefer...change the color entirely.
Each kit can easily do one pair of shoes, boots will require 2 to 3 kits. An over the shoulder hand bag would require 2 kits on average.
When buying a dye kit, we recommend buying a matching jar of shoe cream to maintain the leather and color.
Tarrago Quick Color Dye & Repair Kit -

This product can also be used the dye an item. The main difference between the Quick Color and the Self Shine Dye Kit is that when using the Quick Color no preparation is needed other than making sure the item is dry and clean.
Tarrago Leather Penetrating Dye -
Use only to change light colors to dark. The background color of the leather may alter the final result. For this product, it is necessary to eliminate the finish on the leather before applying the dye. See package directions for further detail on pre-dye surface preparation. Two coat dye process using light coats. Let dry in between applications.

Suede and Nubuck Color Kits - Tarrago Suede and Nubuck Color Kits renew color. The color does not effect the breathability of the Nubuck or Suede. This product has been tested and recommended for footwear made with a breathable and waterproof membrane.
Suede and Nubuck Dye Kits - A specially formulated suede and nubuck dye used to change the color from light to dark. Once dry, the color will not transfer onto other
articles. The background color of the leather may change the final result. The kit comes with detailed instructions.

Are there color swatches for the Tarrago Shoe Dye kits?
The pigment used in the Tarrago Shoe Creams is the same as the color pigment used in the Tarrago Dye Kits. Take a look at the color chart shown at the bottom of each page. The number listed under each color is the corresponding Tarrago color number. Using the Search function located near the top of each page, enter the color or Tarrago color number to see samples of the color you are interested in. Click on the text ZOOM to get a closer look.
How will I know if the Tarrago color will match my shoe's color?
The Tarrago color's displayed on our website should be used as a guide to choose a color that is as close as possible to the color you would like to match. When you receive the product, a small amount should be applied to a discreet area of the shoe to test the quality of the color match before proceeding.
